Volunteer Agreement

As a volunteer with Green Coalition Network, I:

	agree to perform my volunteer duties to the best of my ability;
	agree to make commitments I can reasonably meet;
	agree to meet the time and project commitments that I make, or to provide adequate notice so that alternate arrangements can be made;

	will conduct myself in a professional manner when representing the Green Coalition Network; and shall not disclose or communicate any "confidential information" of the Green Coalition to any person or entity other than the Green Coalition for any purpose or reason other than the benefit of the Green Coalition Network. "Confidential information" refers to policies, procedures, research activities, data sets and maps, campaign strategies, financial information of any kind or any other knowledge possessed by or said by the Green Coalition Network, which is not generally known in the public domain.

Green Coalition Network agrees to:

provide you with adequate information and assistance to be able to meet your responsibilities;

treat you with respect and professionalism;

be receptive to any comments you may have regarding ways in which we might better mutually accomplish out respective tasks;

provide you with a letter of reference upon request.

	I understand that as a volunteer for Green Coalition, I am representing a non-profit organization when doing volunteer work for Green Coalition. While I am carrying out volunteer work for Green Coalition, I shall not engage in activities that are prohibited or illegal. I shall not profit from any activities as a Green Coalition volunteer. I shall not represent Green Coalition in any type of political activity such as endorsing or condemning candidates for office or political initiatives. I understand that I may be held personally liable for any direct consequences of such misrepresentations. In addition, I hereby forever release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Green Coalition Network, its board of directors, officers, members and agents from all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or liability of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of doing volunteer work with Green Coalition.
